Very Special Kids has some amazing support from its corporate partners. Each year, our partners really get behind the Appeal and raise thousands of dollars for Very Special Kids. Sponsors provide cash donations, logistical support, gifts in kind, advertising and media coverage for the Appeal.

What's involved in being a sponsor or supporter?

Through corporate partnerships with the Very Special Kids Piggy Bank Appeal, both businesses and Very Special Kids gain incredible benefits. Very Special Kids is proud of its partnerships with the Appeal Sponsors, these partnerships represent creative, effective and positive engagements between the business, its staff, its networks, Very Special Kids and the families we support.
Very Special Kids works with corporate partners to develop collaborative, long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial and contribute to long-term business and community sustainability. Our corporate partnerships include a mixture of staff volunteering and fundraising, cash sponsorship and in-kind support.
The Very Special Kids Piggy Bank Appeal is a unique fundraising appeal on Victoria’s events calendar. Its unique qualities include:

- The iconic giant piggy banks attract attention from young and old whether they are in traffic, out the front of a shopping centre, or as part of a community event;

- Even after ten years, the piggy banks are very media savvy. They make for great vision and photo opportunities;

- The individual personalities of the piggy banks, now in their third year, are really catching on with the public, especially children who can become quite attached to one particular piggy;

- The Appeal is long standing and is well regarded and recognised by the public;

- It is a travelling Appeal where the piggy banks go all over the state visiting sponsor outlets and community fundraisers attracting media and public attention wherever they go;
